MATERIALS
The organic nature of the handmade wool inspires a sense of going back to basics, and any little imperfections in the weave add to the charm of the fabric. This shawl is made by hand, the production does not require any fuel and produces little water waste, making it sustainable and eco-friendly fabric. Using hand loomed fabric we give a support to the local artisans and helping to maintain traditional production methods.
CARE
Wool fibres are covered with tiny scales which causes felting and shrinkage when wet. To avoid felting and shrinkage, wool must be very carefully cleaned. Dry clean your Khadi garments or wash in cold water with mild soap. Do not wring excess water out. Dry fabric in shade. If you choose to hand wash your wool, avoid agitation which causes the scales on the fibres to interlock and felt. Wool is very elastic, so avoid stretching the fabric when wet.
If you dry clean, do not store item in plastic bag because wool needs to breathe.
